Colourful Patchwork
What to do with a pile of old clothing that isn't even worthy as hand-me-downs?
Cut it all up and make it into a colourful machine-stitched quilt! This quilt is made from
old t-shirts, pajamas, sweaters, sweatshirts, pants, a tea towel and the odd fabric scrap.
The result is a heavy, warm patchwork of colours with various textures and lots of memories!

Monster Tooth Pillows
When your child is expecting a visit from the tooth fairy, have some fun by placing the tooth
in the monster's mouth. When morning comes, a cash surprise in the tooth's place!
Ironing Board Cover
I have had the same ironing board cover for over 20 years.
Needless to say, it was looking pretty hideous!
So I whipped up a new one in the sewing room ... so much nicer!

Tiny Stuffed Valentine's Pins
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I decided to sew up some cute little
heart pins using recycled clothing. It's a great feeling to "re-purpose" some old clothing,
especially when it's made with really cool fabric!

Campbellford Dressmaker Hard at Work
This week I was busy in the sewing room with a couple of summery dresses that
will soon be off to a sunny destination. My client will look so great
in these fresh, cool dresses....
she'll be sizzlin' in the Caribbean!
First, a blue sundress:
And a floral print halter dress.
And the back...
These dresses make me long for a warm summer day!
